UCL NLP researchers post-trained NVIDIA Nemotron models on Isambard-AI using 30M+ synthetic Welsh translations. Their earlier Caernarfon 3B model tops BritEval Irish but trails Llama 3 8B and Mistral 7B on Welsh.
