Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how EarlySignals.com uses cookies and similar technologies.
1. Use of cookies
At this time, EarlySignals.com does not use its own cookies for user authentication or session management.
Authentication is handled through client-side tokens provided by Firebase and sent explicitly by the application when required.
2. Strictly necessary technical storage
Although we do not currently rely on our own authentication cookies, certain technical components of the site or third-party services may use local browser storage or similar mechanisms necessary for the operation, security, and reliability of the service.
3. Third-party services
We use third-party services, including:
- Google / Firebase
- Stripe
Those providers may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies in connection with authentication, fraud prevention, infrastructure delivery, or payment processing, subject to their own policies.
4. Analytics cookies
We use Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. These analytics cookies are only activated after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
If you accept analytics cookies, Firebase Analytics may collect:
- Pages visited and navigation patterns
- General device and browser information
- Approximate geographic location (country/region level)
- Product interactions, such as creating an account, sign-in method, the search terms you enter in the firm directory, firms you view, requesting firm research, and starting a subscription
These interaction events are used only in aggregate to improve the product. We do not attach your name, email address, or account identifier to them.
If you reject analytics cookies, Firebase Analytics does not run and collects nothing. Your preference is stored in your browser's local storage under the key cookie-consent.
You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which will re-display the consent banner on your next visit.
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.
Visit counts without cookies
Separately from Firebase Analytics, and without any cookie, we count visits to our pages ourselves. For each page you view, our server records the page address (without the part after the “?”), the website that sent you to us, any campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), and whether you are using a phone, a tablet, or a computer.
Nothing is stored on your device for this. Our visit records do not contain your IP address or your browser details. To count how many different people visit on a given day, our server combines your IP address and browser details with a random value that is replaced every day, and keeps only the resulting code. The previous day's random value is deleted from our database when a new day begins (our database backups expire on their own schedule). We use these counts only as aggregate statistics to improve the site.
Like most websites, our hosting provider's standard request logs record the IP address and browser details of every request to our servers, including these. We use those logs only for security and operations, and they are deleted after 30 days.
5. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to manage cookies and site data through browser settings. Blocking certain technologies may affect how some services function.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
